Toronto, Ontario is home to a robust and thriving film and television industry, established and supported by premier unions such as IATSE and Nabet as well as guilds and associations such as the Director’s Guild of Canada and ACTRA. Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV) systems continuously replace stale indoor air with fresh outdoor air, providing optimal air quality for each of bhive’s stages/units. -

Shipping Access
Units are accessible via private/shared truck-level shipping or drive-in access (via overhead door). -
Plumbing Rough-ins
Units are readied for water supply and connected to main lines, ensuring proper, code-compliant access to water systems. -
Concrete Floors
Concrete floors provide a stable, durable surface that can withstand high-traffic and the combined weight loads of production equipment. -
In-unit Mezzanines
Units available both with and without mezzanines (with stairwells), providing an additional workspace vantage point. -

Inclusive of five sound-attenuated stages totaling over 100,000 sqft, production offices and 25 dedicated support spaces (including on-site paint and carpentry), the studio offers hundreds of thousands of square feet of flexible space to accommodate the unique requirements of your production.
With ceiling heights of up to 70ft, bhive studios @1510 Birchmount Rd. boasts two of the larger clearspan stages in North America (Stages 1 & 2). An additional 100K sqft of flexible space provides ample on-site support for paint and carpentry shops, lock-ups, art department, wardrobe, hair and makeup, production offices and backlot spaces.

bhive studios @1550 Birchmount Road offers an additional 30,000 sqft of combined stage space as well as 30,000 sqft of multi-use and office space. It is a flexible complex, able to accommodate a spectrum of production functions under one roof.
With ceiling heights of up to 19ft, bhive studios @1550 Birchmount Rd. offers two modest but flexible production stages, as well as ample on-site support for dedicated carpentry shops, lock-ups, art department, wardrobe, hair and makeup, production offices and backlot spaces. Space @1550 is offered for rent both collectively, as one standalone facility, or as individual units.
